NPD November 2013: End of the year edition

Folks, 2013 will be a distant memory soon.  But before we say farewell, let's take care of some last minute business. The NPD of November.

At number 10: Fifa 14 by EA for the 360, PS3, PS4, XBone and Vita.  Too bad it ain't on the PC.

At number 09: Disney Infinity by Disney Interactive for the Wii, Wii U, 360, PS3 and 3DS.

At number 08: Just Dance 2014 by Ubisoft for the 360, PS3, Wii U, XBone and PS4.  Dancing fever has hit Generation 8.

At number 07: Skylanders Swap Force by Activision Blizzard for the 360, PS3, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, XBone and PS4.  Spyro and co are still going strong.

At number 06: NBA 2K14 by Take 2 Interactive for the 360, PS3, PS4, XBone and PC.  I don't see much of a difference in polygon count and textures

At number 05: GTAV by Take 2 Interactive for the 360 and PS3.  Hey, where did Saints Row IV go?

At number 04: Madden NFL 25 by EA for the 360, PS3, PS4 and XBone.  And with the Season coming to a close.

At number 03: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag by Ubisoft for the 360, PS3, PS4, XBone, PC and Wii U.  Shiver me Timbers across everything

At number 02: Battlefield 4 by EA for the 360, PS3, PS4, XBone and PC.  WARNING: Glitch hazard.

And at Number 01: Call of Duty: Ghosts by Activision Blizzard for the 360, PS3, PS4, XBone, PC and Wii U.  Still number 1 despite lower than usual reviews.

As for the hardware, the PS4 is the top selling platform of the month thanks to an earlier than usual release.  But the XBone did well at 909,132, selling 101,000 per day.  Watch out PS4, the XBone may be catching up to you.

The 360 did around 647K.  Not bad for a system going out.  The Wii U made a small jump to 220K, but both systems are triumphed by the 3DS at around 770K, beating last year's sales.

What will December 2013's sales bring?  Stay tuned and have a happy new year.
