Comic-Con Impressions: Batman: The Brave and the Bold

Folks, I've been to Comic-Con preview night, and lemme tell ya, it makes a buffalo stampede look like a quiet crowd. I was able to get my hands on a Wii-exclusive title: Batman the Brave and the Bold, a Wii/DS Exclusive title based on the Animated Series of the same name.

For those of you wanting a Wii Brave and the Bold take on Arkham Asylum, think again. This game is a complete 100% 2D Beat-em-up. You can choose between Batman and the pre-selected partner of that stage. For the Catwoman stage, you have Robin. For the Rogues gallery, you have Green Lantern Guy Gardner.

You attack with the A button and jump with B. The cOntrol pad will select you special ability and you can use it with Z. C is to block. And when you have a Super Charge, shake both the Wiimote and the Nunchuck to perform a super attack that will knock your enemies senseless. You can even invite a 2nd player to join you.

If you're looking for an epic Batman title, you're better off with Arkham Asylum 1 or 2. But if you're wanting a good ol fashion beat-em-up, The Brave and the Bold may be for you.
